Have way too many sweaters, but any time I swing by a thrift store I have to see what’s in stock, primarily for:
Shetland wool
Geelong wool
Made in Scotland
Made in California
Made in USA
Used to be I could save my pocketbook and narrow down whatever of the above I found based on whether or not I could wear it. That doesn’t necessarily work anymore.
It seems obvious now, but until recently I hadn’t thought about buying a $4.99 XS shetland wool sweater and just unraveling it to save $10+ on a skein of yarn.
The sweater below is a medium, so it may fit. But I’m posting about it not to brag about the wool savings, but to share the label:

Champion Sportswear of California? Every old label I can find for the Champion just talks about its old location in Rochester, NY. Have to look into this more, but if anyone can shed some light on the age of this label, please do.
